Leeds United returned to training on Monday, as they look to turn their attentions to the final nine matches of this year's campaign.

The Whites are sat top of the second tier standings, and will be confident of extending their seven-point advantage over third-placed Fulham between now and the end of the season.

Recent off-the-field events have meant that players across the EFL have had to train from home, although measures have been put in place to make sure social distancing is maintained at the club's training ground as players return.

One player that has played a starring role in Leeds' bid for promotion into the Premier League this season is Mateusz Klich, who has made 39 appearances in all competitions for Marcelo Bielsa's side.

The Polish midfielder has chipped in with five goals and four assists this term, as Leeds edge closer to a long-awaited return to the top-flight.

Klich took to Instagram on Monday to issue his thoughts on his return to training at Thorp Arch, and was clearly delighted to get back training away from his home.

No scheduled date has been set in place for competitive action to get back underway, as the relevant authorities continue to monitor the off-the-field situation at hand.

The Verdict:

He'll be hoping to pick up where he left off.

Klich has been brilliant for Leeds this season, and I firmly believe that he's more than good enough to adjust to the demands of the Premier League if the Whites are to achieve promotion this term.

Leeds had built some much-needed momentum before the break from competitive action, but I can't see any other team standing in their way from now until the end of this season.

Marcelo Bielsa's side have been the team to beat this term, and they fully deserve to win promotion into the top-flight under his guidance.
