Match Preview: Yeovil Town vs Coventry City

Coventry have the chance to book a place in the third round with a win over Paul Sturrock’s struggling Yeovil Town side on Tuesday.

Yeovil welcome Coventry to Huish Park
Defensive rock Jakub Sokolik is likely to be unavailable for Yeovil due to injury, which could further hamper a defence that has been leaking goals in League Two this season.
Coventry will come into this tie heavy favourites, with City lying fifth in League One, three points off the automatic promotion spaces with a game in hand, however will have to rest key players such as League One top scorer, Adam Armstrong, who is at the Ricoh Arena on loan for the season, and is unavailable due to international duty with the England Under-19’s.
Yeovil fans will be pessimistic heading into this second round tie, and the game could provide a chance to ebb key players back into the side following an extensive injury problem throughout the squad.
There will be some optimism however, considering the fact they held high-flying Portsmouth to a 0-0 draw on Saturday and the fact that Coventry could well underestimate Town heading into this clash.
The fate of this tie, hangs in the balance, but Coventry will be confident in advancing to the next stage.
