The Millers placed coach Eric Black in caretaker charge of the side and he doesn't have too many injury concerns for the game.

Captain Lee Frecklington is a likely to miss the game with a calf problem while fellow midfielder Paul Green has an Achilles problem, both were picked up in training this week.

Black has another selection problem as Norwich midfielder Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe returned to Norwich this week following the expiration of his loan deal.

The Rotherham players will go into the game with some confidence as they have won their past two games, beating early promotion contenders Cardiff and Birmingham.

Those two victories have taken them from bottom of the division to 20th, just a point clear of 22nd placed Preston North-End. 51-year old Black will be hoping his side can continue that form against another promotion contender on Friday night.

While victory would see them climb up to 16th, a defeat would see them drop below Bolton in 21st and hoping that all three teams in the relegation zone fail to win.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has a number of injuries problems going into the game, but he hopes that have record signing

Andre Gray available after he missed last weekend's defeat to Reading with a hamstring problem. Another summer signing, Joey Barton, made his debut in that game and he will be hoping to be deemed match fit and start at the New York Stadium.

The game comes to soon for Fredrik Ulvestad (ankle), Dean Marney and Kevin Long (knee) who are progressing well in their rehabilitation. Lukas Jutkiewicz, Ashley Barnes, Jason Gilchrist and Daniel Lafferty are all long-term absentees.

Burnley will hope to bounce back from last weekend's defeat and climb into the play-off places and close the gap to just two points between them and second placed Middlesbrough. After four wins on the trot, the Clarets have been derailed slightly with a draw to Derby coming before the defeat to Reading.

A defeat could see them drop down 8th before Saturday's games, but they could be in 13th on Sunday if results go against them.
