Top of the table QPR play host to third place Leicester City, who are only 3 points off the London high-flyers. Top goalscorer Charlie Austin, with 11 goals, added to his tally after contributing with his 11th goal in a comfortable 2-0 win against play-off chasers Blackpool last Saturday.
Leicester City’s top scorer David Nugent will be going head to head with Austin. Both strikers are currently on 11 goals for the season and will be looking to expand and gain the upper hand for their respective teams in this huge clash.
After Leicester’s 1-1 draw against Burnley at the weekend, the Foxes will be looking to get back to winning ways, and a win against top of the tree Queens Park Rangers would be a nice, early Christmas present for Nigel Pearson’s side.
The top three sides are separated by only three points, QPR are top with 42 points out of a possible 60. Burnley are 2nd with 40 points and Leicester City complete the top 3 on 39 points.
Both teams are expected to put out their strongest side but with QPR in possession of the home advantage, Leicester fans will have to be in full voice to push the away team that extra mile in making sure the Foxes keep Rangers at bay.
Kick off on Saturday is at Loftus Road at 12:15PM and can be seen on Sky Sports 1 & HD from 12 Noon.
