Leeds United travel to MK Dons this afternoon looking for their second win of the campaign, while the Dons will hope to leapfrog their opponents with victory.

Karl Robinson’s MK Dons will look to end a three-game losing streak in the league when they host Leeds this afternoon (3pm kick-off)

Karl Robinson’s MK Dons have lost three on the bounce, following defeats to Birmingham City, Middlesbrough and Burnley. This after a solid start which saw them lose just one of their opening four matches.

Even more worrying for Dons fans is the fact that they have only scored once in the last three, and only six in all seven league games this season. They will be hoping that former West Ham and Bristol City striker Nicky Maynard will agree a deal to ease those worries.

Robinson has a number of injury worries ahead of this weekend’s encounter, with Ben Reeves, Joe Walsh, Mark Randall, Dale Jennings, Darren Potter and Cody Cropper all missing the midweek defeat to Burnley, and all are likely to miss this afternoon’s clash. Randall, Potter and Cropper will definitely miss the game, and they are likely to be out for some time.

Leeds are just a point and two places above their weekend opponents, and a win could take them as high as seventh.

Uwe Rosler’s men suffered their first defeat of the season on Tuesday night with a 1-0 loss to Ipswich Town – they had previously won one and drawn their other five games.

Rosler doesn’t have any fresh injury problems.

Deadline day signing Jordan Botaka is in contention to make his debut and is expected to be named on the bench for the Whites. With Chris Wood and Mirco Antenucci both in good form, Rosler has a decision to make as to whether he reverts to his favoured 4-3-3 formation and drop one of them, or change his system and start with both.

Meanwhile, academy products Sam Byram and Alex Mowatt are pushing for starts after being dropped to the bench against Ipswich in midweek.
