It is a question of who will maintain their unbeaten record when Ipswich Town and Sheffield Wednesday do battle at Portman Road.
Having suffered an agonising play-off defeat to bitter rivals Norwich City at the end of last season, Mick McCarthy’s men have made a fairly solid start to this campaign.
It took two stoppage-time goals to deny them all three points on the opening weekend at Brentford, before they recovered from a goal down to see off League Two Stevenage in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday.
Wednesday have made a very bright start under new manager Carlos Carvalhal, and will be hoping this can inspire them to a first victory over the Tractor Boys in six attempts.
They opened with a 2-0 victory over newly-promoted Bristol City before breezing past another fourth-tier side in Mansfield Town 4-1 in the cup.
Ipswich edged the reverse fixture 2-1 last season, while Wednesday’s Kieran Lee scored for the second game in a row at Portman Road.
This came after a 1-1 draw at Hillsborough the previous September.
