Queens Park Rangers are looking to bounce back when they travel to Huddersfield Town, after suffering a shock Capital One Cup exit against Carlisle United in midweek.
Chris Ramsey fielded a second-string side at Loftus Road on Tuesday, but he will have expected his side to have got the job done, nevertheless.
They will be looking to quickly put that behind them and push on from their recent resurgence in the Championship, as they are unbeaten in their last three with two wins and a draw.
Chris Powell is hoping to provide Huddersfield’s first win of the campaign at the John Smith’s Stadium, as they have drawn their last three games and previously suffered a surprise cup defeat at the hands of League Two side Notts County.
They should have taken all three points from Fulham on Saturday, but were cruelly denied by Cauley Woodrow’s strike in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
The last meeting between the sides came in the 2013/14 season when Charlie Austin’s double secured a 2-1 victory for the Rs. Nahki Wells also scored in that game and both sides will be hoping their main talismen are firing on all cylinders this afternoon.
