Top of the league Gillingham host 12th placed Scunthorpe at The Priestfield Stadium on Tuesday night in Sky Bet League One.
Gillingham are in dreamland with their season so far, with four wins out of their last five games in all competitions and only two defeats all season in the league.
After a tricky start, The Iron have picked up recently, winning three on the bounce in the league. These successes have pushed Mark Robins’ men up to 12th in the league, and within four points of the play-offs.
Justin Edinburgh’s side will be without defender Ryan Jackson, who is suspended after picking up his 5th yellow card Saturday, whilst striker Luke Norris and on-loan defender Deji Oshilaja are both sidelined through injury. Fans favourite Cody McDonald will be assessed after he picked up a foot injury in the Gills victory against Crewe Saturday.
Scunthorpe have no new injury worries, and attacking midfielder Luke Williams is in contention for the Lincolnshire club, after playing two games for Irons’ development side. Defender Niall Canavan and midfielders Jamie Ness and Stephen Dawson remain sidelined for Mark Robins’ side.
