The home side currently sit 18th in the table on 12 points, whereas Luton are six points better off than their opponents, and sit tenth.

Crawley are not performing to the standard they would have expected this year, after hoping for an immediate return back to League One. The Reds have managed to pick up two wins out of three, but these have been their only two wins in their last eight games.

Luton are underachieving in the grand scheme of the season, however they are in touching distance of the play-off places, and are a team hot on form, winning four of their last five matches.

Crawley boss Mark Yates will be bolstered by the signing of goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan, who could make his debut inbetween the sticks to add security to Crawley's defence, which has already conceded 19 goals this season.

Yates will also be able to welcome back Liam Donnelly and Josh Yorwerth into the matchday squad after injury troubles, yet he will be without trio Lanre Oyebanjo (knee), Gavin Tomlin (groin) and Joe McNerney (Knee) due to injury problems.

They have also lost goalkeeper Freddie Woodman, as the shot stopper has been recalled by parent club Newcastle United after first choice goalkeeper Tim Krul was ruled out for the rest of the season.

Luton manager John Still will be without striker Paul Benson due to an injury to his neck, but Paddy McCourt and Scott Griffiths both return to Hatters squad, and are available for selection.

Both teams will be battling hard to carry on their recent good form, and the team who can start the brightest could well take all three points which would make a significant difference to their league position.
