Cambridge United manager Richard Money will be looking to beat a Stevenage side struggling to recover from last season's Play-off semi-final defeat to Southend United when the two teams meet on Saturday afternoon.

Richard Money's Cambridge side will be looking to end a five-game winless streak when they take on Stevenage this afternoon (3pm kick-off)

The hosts themselves are stuck in a poor run of form though, and haven't won any of their last five matches. Their last success came over a month ago on August 18, when they beat AFC Wimbledon 2-1.

However, despite the lack of victories, Money's side have drawn three of their last four league games, and will be hoping to take advantage of a Stevenage side who have yet to win on the road this season, and secure the three points which would propel the U's up the table towards the play-off positions.

There is little doubt over the side's quality, with players such as Ryan Donaldson and Sulley Kaikai figuring in the starting line-up, but Money is yet to get the very best out of the side that took Premier League giants Manchester United to a replay in the fourth round of last season's FA Cup.

Barry Corr will be the main threat on Saturday and is currently the U's top scorer with five goals having signed on a free transfer from promoted Southend.

Stevenage, under the guidance of Teddy Sheringham, have conceded 14 goals already this season, only four teams have conceded more, and will go into the clash at the Abbey Stadium as slight underdogs.
