David Flitcroft's Bury will be hoping to continue the form that has seen them rise to sixth place this season when they entertain a Coventry City side still battling to get back into the Championship after several years away from the second tier.

David Flitcroft's Bury go in search of a fourth straight win when they host Coventry this afternoon (3pm kick-off)

Both sides currently sit in the Play-off positions, with the Sky Blues sitting comfortably in fourth place, while Bury, thanks to three victories on the bounce, occupy the final Play-off place.

The Shakers will be the more confident of the two sides going into Saturday's clash off the back of a five-match unbeaten run, from a side punching heavily above their weight in League One following automatic promotion from the fourth tier last term.

Summer signing Tom Pope has been outstanding along with the ever-reliable Danny Mayor, Leon Clarke and Nathan Cameron - the latter netted the winner in their 1-0 win over Port Vale last time out.

The hosts will be desperate to prove it is not a fluke that they are sitting in the Play-Offs and that they are serious contenders for a top six place come the end of the season, but face a stern test against Tony Mowbray's side, who have won five of their eight league matches this season.

Coventry will be no pushovers, and will likely go into the game favourites, knowing a win could see them go top of the table.

Bury and Coventry are the league's top scorers so far this season, both have netted 15 times, so there promises to be goals at Gigg Lane this afternoon.
