Stoke City boss Michael O’Neill has named his starting XI for the trip to the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium to face QPR, which has drawn an excited response from fans of the club.
O’Neill has made just one change from the side that were beaten by promotion-chasers Preston North End in midweek.

James McClean has been an important weapon for the Potters this season but drops out of the side to allow Jordan Thompson to make his full debut.
The 23-year-old signed from Blackpool in January and is known by O’Neill from his time in the Northern Ireland squad.
Another recent arrival, Tashan Oakley-Boothe, has been named on the bench.
Prior to the defeat in midweek, Stoke have been in impressive form since the turn of the year–winning three of their last four in the league and opening up a four-point gap over the relegation zone.
They face a QPR side that have gone five games without a win in all competitions and haven’t scored in the last four games.
Stoke will eye this one as a real opportunity to claim a vital victory and make another step toward survival.
