Jonathan Woodgate has made two changes for tonight’s clash with Wigan Athletic.
Middlesbrough fell to a 3-2 defeat against Brentford at the weekend and it seems that the boss has seen fit to add an attacking emphasis to his team selection for the clash with the Latics.
Ravel Morrison will make his debut for the club after being named in the starting XI.
The former Manchester United man made the loan move to Teesside in the January transfer window and was an unused sub for the defeat to the Bees at the weekend.
There’s also a place in the starting line-up for Britt Assombalonga.
The striker hasn’t started a game since the victory over Charlton Athletic in December, but he returns alongside Ashley Fletcher in attack.
Marcus Tavernier and Marvin Johnson are the two players to make way, with both dropping to the bench.
The alterations made to the starting XI have certainly got fans excited, with many hoping that it was bring a real attacking focus to the must-win clash with the relegation contenders.
Here’s what some fans had to say.
