Helder Costa has made just three Championship starts since joining Leeds United in the summer and his performances appear to have divided opinion amongst fans of the Yorkshire club.

The winger joined from Wolves on a season-long loan that will turn permanent in the summer, for a reported fee of £15 million.

Despite arriving as Leeds’ blockbuster summer signing, Costa’s opportunities have been quite limited at the start of the season, with Marcelo Bielsa preferring to start Pablo Hernandez and Jack Harrison.

An injury to Hernandez has allowed the Portuguese wide-man to start the previous three Championship games but the Whites have won just once in that time, with the 25-year-old failing to register either a goal or an assist.

Costa was hauled off at half-time by Bielsa on Saturday and it seems that the winger has failed to really grab his chance in the side.

Leeds now face a break of almost two weeks before their next game, which will see them play Birmingham City at Elland Road, and it is thought Hernandez will be available for that, which may mean Costa drops out of the side.

Just over three months after he joined the club, Whites supporters appear to be divided on the winger and took to Twitter to express their thoughts.
