Sheffield United ensured it was a Yorkshire one-two at the top of the Championship on Saturday evening, as the Blades soundly saw off in-form QPR.

The Blades were by no means at their brilliant and clinical best, but had enough in the tank to see the game out after David McGoldrick gave them the lead just before half time when he glanced home a fine ball from Oliver Norwood.

The second half never really got going for either team and the R's never really troubled Dean Henderson in the Blades goal either, and it was a vital three points wrapped up for Chris Wilder's men as they go into the automatic promotion places.

There was no debut for controversial signing Gary Madine, but Kieran Dowell did come on and showed some nice touches after replacing Mark Duffy in the second half.

The win has clearly delighted most Blades fans it seems, and plenty took to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the performance and win.

We at FLW were of course on hand to see just what the reaction was from the United faithful...
