Middlesbrough’s play-off push is beginning to snowball under Tony Pulis, with the Teessiders slowly working their way back towards the top-six.

Tuesday night’s 3-1 victory over Hull City left Boro in eighth, but with Pulis’ side now just three points adrift of the top-six heading into this weekend’s clash with Sunderland in the Sky Bet Championship.

Tuesday’s hero was Rudy Gestede, who scored twice for Boro to fire them to three points at the Riverside.
