Many Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Facebook to react to the news that Samba Sow is now ready to make his return to action following a lengthy period of absence due to injury.

The Mali international, who joined the Reds for an undisclosed fee in the summer from Dinamo Moscow, initially made a bright start to life at the City Ground as he featured in nine of the club's opening 11 league fixtures of the season.

However, since suffering a hamstring strain during Forest's 1-0 victory over Brentford in October, Sow has been forced to watch on from the sidelines.

With the Reds set to face Huddersfield Town this weekend, the midfielder is in contention to feature at the John Smith's Stadium having recovered from his injury.

Speaking to BBC Nottingham Sport about the midfielder ahead of tomorrow's showdown with the Terriers, Forest manager Sabri Lamouchi said: "He's [Sow] ready to come back for us."
