‘Massive business,’ ‘Very nice’ – Many Birmingham City fans hail latest update on transfer pursuit

A number of Birmingham City supporters have been reacting to the latest report from Daily Record that the Blues are prepared to make an improved offer to Hibernian for forward Kevin Nisbet.

Aitor Karanka’s side have been very active over the last few days as they look to strengthen their attacking options, and it is thought that the Blues are closing in on a deal for Aberdeen’s Sam Cosgrove. It is also now being reported by Sky Sports that Birmingham are interested in making a move for Manchester City’s Keyendrah Simmonds.

Birmingham have also been heavily linked with a potential move for Nisbet, and it has been reported that the Blues have seen an offer of around £2 million rejected by Hibs for the striker. The 23-year-old has been in excellent form this term firing in 11 goals in 23 appearances in the Scottish Premier League (Sofascore).

The latest report from Daily Record reveals that that initial offer was worth in excess of £2 million due to the add-ons that were also proposed. While it is also thought that Birmingham are prepared to come back in with an improved bid to try and persuade Hibs to cash in on the forward before the transfer window closes on Monday.

Many Birmingham supporters were left encouraged by this latest update and are hoping that the Blues can get this deal for Nisbet over the line before the deadline.
