According to France Football via Get Football News France, French giants Olympique de Marseille have been in contact with Bristol City’s Lee Tomlin over a potential move.

The Ligue 1 outfit have scouted Lee Tomlin this season and appear to have taken a fancy to his style of play.

The attacking midfielder has four goals for the Robins after making his permanent move from Bournemouth earlier this season.

The 27-year-old is renowned for his technical ability on the ball and his eye for goal from the midfield regions.

After plying his trade at Rushden and Diamonds for five years, Tomlin moved to Peterborough in the Football League and has since played for Middlesbrough and Bournemouth.

Marseille are currently ninth in the French top flight after a mediocre start to the season by their standards so they are rumoured to be looking to do some business in the January transfer window.
