Marlon Harewood: From Forest and Villa heroics to selling cars - where are they now?

Starting his senior footballing days with Nottingham Forest, he made his first-team debut in 1998, in the same season he spent in Finland on loan with FC Hakka. He would go on to make 204 appearances for the Reds in a five-year period, scoring 56 goals.

Having rejected a new deal at the City Ground, Harewood joined West Ham United in November 2003 and during the following campaign, was crucial as Alan Pardew's side won promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs, with Harewood scoring 23 goals on the way.

He was able to take that form into the Premier League as well, scoring 14 top-flight goals in his first season and also scored the winner against Middlesbrough to take the Hammers into the FA Cup final.

A spell with Aston Villa followed at the end of the 2006/07 season, spending three years at the West Midland's side, becoming a fan favourite despite usually appearing as a substitute. He scored seven goals in 40 appearances for the club, being sent on loan to Newcastle United and Wolves in his second season.

A flurry of Football League spells saw out his career before hanging up his boots with Nuneaton in 2016 to pursue a new career.

But where is he now?

Instead of going down the route of coaching or punditry, Harewood can instead be found finding flash cars for other people as co-owner of AC13, a high-end car dealership as well as fitting body kits and other customisations on their current cars.

Speaking to the Nottingham Post on his new exploits, he said: "It's good because I get to keep in contact with all the lads. I go to see if they need any help with their cars and have a chat about football."
