Mark Warburton has insisted that his QPR side will not sit back when they take on Brentford this weekend.

The R's travel to Griffin Park in a positive mood having smashed both Cardiff and Swansea in their last two fixtures, scoring 11 goals in the process.

QPR have been sensational at times going forward, but they'll have to be at their best defensively on Saturday as they are going up against an attack with some of the best players in the division.

Warburton has expressed that his side will continue to play their game and attack Brentford on the weekend.

Speaking to West London Sport, Warburton said: "I don’t think we’ve sat back in a game this season. I think you have to play your game.

"You have to respect the opposition – they’re a very good team. They’re at home, have a tremendous home record and are a really good footballing team.

"I’ve got enormous respect for Thomas Frank and we know what we face. But they’ll also know they face a good QPR team."

The Verdict

It's set to be a really good game on the weekend and there should be lots of goals in this fixture. QPR love scoring, and if they just improved upon that defensive record then they would be one of the most feared sides in the division.

Brentford will know that QPR will have a lot of chances but they have to make sure that they continue to do what they have been doing at home and make it as hard as possible for the opposition.

If they do that, then QPR have to make sure they aren't sucked in otherwise Bees players such as Ollie Watkins, Said Benrahma and Bryan Mbuemo will hurt the R's on the counter-attack.
