Norwich City midfielder Marco Stiepermann has shared an inspirational message on social media as the club's celebrations continue after they were promoted to the Premier League.

Stiepermann was a key part of Daniel Farke's squad and has shared an image of the club's post-match celebrations at Villa Park on the final day of the season.

Writing alongside the photograph on his Instagram, he said: "Never lose faith in yourself!!! ????????????????"

In the past campaign the 28-year-old made 43 appearances, scoring nine goals and assisting eight more in just his second season in England, marking a big improvement on the one goal and two assists managed in his first campaign.

An impressive 2-1 win against Aston Villa on the final day of the season meant they beat Sheffield United to the Championship title, with goals from Teemu Pukki and Mario Vrancic.

The play-off final on Monday will decide who joins them as the third promoted team with Derby County and Aston Villa set to face-off at Wembley.

The verdict

Stiepermann has had a remarkable season at Norwich and has been consistently classy throughout.

He has been crucial in keeping that dynamic attack of Pukki, Hernandez, Buendia and himself ticking over and he became close to irreplaceable at Carrow Road.

It will be very interesting to see how he adapts to life in the Premier League, however.
