Marcelo Bielsa has announced that he has called a press conference for 5pm on Wednesday evening, which is sure to leave many Leeds fans waiting nervously.

Wayne Gardiner from the Press Association broke the news, and the wait up until 5pm is sure to feel like a lifetime for Whites supporters.

The Leeds boss has been hugely impressive in his first season with the Whites, and has led them to top spot in the Championship, with many fans dreaming of a return to the Premier League.

Bielsa has been the subject of much criticism recently, as it was revealed that he sent a spy to watch Derby's training before the two sides faced off on Friday evening.

It was confirmed that the FA and the EFL were investigating the matter, and it remains to be seen as to what action Leeds will face over the matter which has been well publicised.

But there will be Leeds fans fearing the worst at this latest announcement, with many preparing themselves for the worst, and the possibility that Bielsa could walk away from his managerial post is a frightening prospect.

If he was to resign, then it could have serious implications on their title bid, with Leeds looking like the team to beat this season, so many fans will be praying that the worst doesn't happen.

The Verdict:

You have to imagine this has something to do with 'spygate'.

If it doesn't, then you're worrying a lot if you're a Leeds supporter.

Many supporters will be fearing the worst and that Bielsa could walk away from Elland Road, but I don't expect that to be the case here.
