Leeds United will be without Barry Douglas and Adam Forshaw for Saturday's game against Bolton due to injury.

Left-back Douglas has had a tough time with injuries this year, with a 45-minute appearance from the bench against Norwich his only action since New Year's Day.

Meanwhile, a knee injury has kept midfielder Adam Forshaw out of the last two games.

And, Bielsa was quoted by journalist Phil Hay as saying that neither will be involved against the Trotters at Elland Road on Saturday, although they may not be far away from a return.

"Barry Douglas plays with the 23s tomorrow night. It's his final step before getting back to the group. Forshaw needs more time to recover from his knee injury. Will probably miss the next two games."

The Whites have a very busy schedule coming up, with a trip to QPR on Tuesday following the clash against Phil Parkinson's men.

Then, they have a huge fixture against automatic promotion rivals West Brom on the Friday night, which could be the comeback game for Douglas and Forshaw.

The Verdict

Leeds have had awful luck with injuries this season but they've coped extremely well on the whole.

So, they will continue to manage without Douglas and Forshaw for the next two games but it will be a big boost to the squad when they return.

Every game is extremely important now so Bielsa will want a bigger squad to work with and these two players could have big roles to play in the run-in.
