Indeed, the pre-match press conferences are starting to get underway as we get closer to the next set of games and Marcelo Bielsa has already conducted his up at Leeds.

The Whites travel to Pride Park this weekend to take on Derby County with both sides getting their respective campaigns off to good starts with wins apiece.

The match also marks a clash between one of the most experienced managers around in Bielsa, and one of the most inexperienced in Frank Lampard, who has just the one competitive game to his name.

Certainly, then, it'll be a big test for someone so early on in his career but Bielsa is clearly a fan of him from his playing days.

As quoted by Phil Hay, he called Lampard "a glory of English football:"

The Verdict

These are certainly glowing words for a player who was a fine midfielder for both club and country.

Being a manager is something completely different, though, and Bielsa will be looking to teach Lampard a thing or two when the pair meet at Pride Park.

It should be a fascinating clash.
