The stalwart stated that his side "should have won the game" but hailed the point as being an important one in terms of the position QPR find themselves in.

Pugh has not been a regular feature of Mark Warburton's side so far this season, and has been predominantly used as an option off the bench.

The Swansea game was his first league start since Boxing Day - a 1-0 defeat to Reading at the Madejski Stadium.

The Verdict

Pugh's analysis is correct, as QPR were the more threatening side over the course of the game, and they will be disappointed not to take all three points.

In terms of the season, however, it could to be an important point considering the side's current league position.

Mark Warburton no doubt will want to improve on that, but  QPR's form needs to turn. The R's have now taken just 8 points from their last 33 on offer.
