Over the course of the past week we have seen Leeds United’s players return to Thorp Arch as the Whites step up their preparations for the resume of the Championship season.  

Leeds are desperate to start things up again in the Championship, with the Whites top of the table and just nine games away from a return to the Premier League.

In the past week, we’ve seen a number of videos and images emerge on Leeds’ official media channels, with players getting stuck into training after such a long break.

One of the latest videos to emerge features Illan Meslier, the club’s young French goalkeeper, who recently took over the gloves from Kiko Casilla.

The drill he’s taking part in shows him making a number of saves with ease, which only adds to the fans’ belief that he’s going to be a top-class goalkeeper in the future.

In addition to that, many Leeds fans are hopeful that Meslier will become a permanent signing in the coming summer, with the Whites reportedly holding that option to sign the French under-21 international long-term.
