Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a move for Coventry City midfielder James Maddison, according to the Coventry Telegraph.
The 18-year-old forward is being tracked by both Manchester United and Spurs, with both clubs seemingly interested in the potential of the promising young forward.
Maddison has gone on to make 18 first-team appearances for the Sky Bet League One outfit, and his mature performances have impressed many.
The striker signed a new three-and-a-half year deal at the Ricoh Arena back in November, so any club vying for his signature would have to table a sizeable transfer fee to land the talented star.
Tony Mowbray’s side managed to steer clear of the Sky Bet League One relegation zone, and ended the season in 17th position, five points clear of the dreaded drop zone.
Coventry City fans….. What do you make of this news? Just how good is Maddison? Could he do a job in the Premier League for either Manchester United or Tottenham?
