Wolves are on course for promotion to the Premier League but one of the big hitters in the top flight has already got their eye on one of their key men, in Ruben Neves.

According to reports, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has his eye on countryman Neves to reinforce his midfield - which will lose Michael Carrick in the summer.

There are also doubts over the future of Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera, while the problems between marquee signing Paul Pogba and the former Real Madrid boss have been well documented.

As Mourinho embarks on what is sure to be another summer of expensive reinforcement from all over Europe, we at FLW have looked at three other Championship players he could cast his eye over to improve his United squad.

The second tier might not be the most obvious place for one of the world's richest teams to look but we've picked out these three men Mourinho should take a look at...

Sessegnon has long since been sought after by teams across Europe and it is almost surprising that Fulham still have him.

His transformation into a direct left winger this season makes him a different type of transfer target but he has a ruthlessness to his game that is lacking in some of United's forward players.

If Mourinho did want to move him further back, there is definitely a spot going at left-back, where Luke Shaw has failed to earn his manager's trust.

Maddison is on Tottenham's radar and United would do well to take a look at him too.

His fearless style is different to anything they currently have in their ranks and he can make something happen out of nothing - as well as scoring screamers from distance.

He has blossomed this season and with Norwich's parachute payments ending this summer, they might be persuaded to do a deal.

It was clear in the Premier League last season that former Barcelona man Traore had talent but Mourinho's close friend Aitor Karanka simply didn't trust him.

Another pal of Mourinho's - Tony Pulis - clearly has a more favourable opinion and the improvement he has inspired in Traore has been hugely impressive.

He has searing pace, which would be a contrast with having Juan Mata on the right and while Jesse Lingard is United's only out and out right winger, there is a space going.
