Manchester United are reportedly willing to give Jude Bellingham a chance in the first-team if they can land his signature in the summer according to the Evening Standard.
The report claims that the Red Devils would have to pay a fee in the region of £30m to strike a deal with Championship side Birmingham City in the summer transfer window.
Bellingham has been hugely impressive for Pep Clotet’s side in his breakthrough season with the Blues, even though they’ve been struggling for a positive run of results in previous matches.
The 16-year-old has made 35 appearances in all competitions this term, and has chipped in with four goals and three assists for Birmingham.
It has also previously been reported by Bild that German giants Borussia Dortmund were edging closer to an agreement to sign Bellingham, although it remains to be seen as to which club is the frontrunner to land his signature ahead of next year’s campaign.
A move to Manchester United with first-team assurances could be a tempting proposition for Bellingham, and it’ll be interesting to see which club he ends up at by the start of next season.
Manchester United are currently sat fifth in the Premier League, and will be hoping they can finish the season strongly when competitive action gets back underway.

I have to say that I’m surprised by this.
Bellingham has been brilliant for Birmingham City this season in the Championship, but he’s still a raw talent that has plenty of learning to do in the professional game.
He’s definitely got a bright future ahead of him if his performances from this year’s campaign are anything to go by, and it’ll be interesting to see how he would get on with Manchester United in the Premier League.
It’s a big step up to the top-flight, but you would imagine that he’d arrive at Old Trafford full of confidence, especially if he was given first-team assurances.
