Schmeichel’s agent has hinted a move to the Red Devils could be on the cards, and he could follow in the footsteps of his father Peter.
The Leicester City goalkeeper has been a standout performer in Leicester side who are at the top of the Sky Bet Championship table by a considerable points tally. The Denmark international is out of contract with the Foxes in the summer, and is yet to commit to a new deal with the runaway Championship leaders.
Agent Mads Frederiksen said: “Kasper has played on a very high level for a long time, and we can also notice a lot of interest from many clubs. His performance against England doesn’t make the interest smaller.
“From a commercial perspective, it opens up some great opportunities for Kasper in relation to personal sponsorships, so it’s a very exciting time for him.”
