Manchester United are lining up a move for Sunderland starlet Adam Richardson, according to the Sun on Sunday, print edition, Sunday 7th October 2018.

Richardson, who is still only a teenager and plays for the England under-15's, is being targeted by the Red Devils, who hope to land the goalkeeper for a fee in the region of £500k.

The Red Devils will be hoping to land the stopper in the hope of him becoming the next big thing in goalkeeping terms, with the likes of Jordan Pickford coming through the ranks to good effect over recent years, with the stopper now the England number one.

Richardson is highly rated at the Stadium of Light and would no doubt relish the move to Old Trafford, despite their being a plethora of goalkeeping options already at the club, including Dean Henderson, who is currently excelling in the Championship with Sheffield United.

Sunderland are looking to get back into the second tier following relegation from the Championship last season, and have made a decent start to proceedings, sitting third in the League One table ahead of the international break.

Sunderland fans, what do you make of this? How good can Richardson be? Let us know in the comments!
