Manchester United, Arsenal and PSG are set to be dealt a frustrating transfer blow, with one of their targets set to sign a new contract.

Reading FC youngster, Coniah Boyce-Clarke is set to pen a new three-year-deal with the Royals, putting an end to any speculation linking him with a move away from the Madejski Stadium according to Sky Sports.

It has previously been reported by the Daily Mail, that the two Premier League heavyweights were set to make an offer for the exciting young prospect.

Boyce-Clarke has regularly featured for Reading's under 23's team this season, despite still being just 16-years-old.

He has also featured for the Royals' youth side in the Berks and Bucks cup in recent weeks, so he already has first-team experience under his belt.

The youngster picked up the Golden Glove award for England's under 16's team in the Val De Marne tournament in France earlier this year.

He is a current England youth international, who evidently has a bright future ahead of him, if the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal are being linked with him so early into his career.

The Verdict:

I'm surprised by this.

Boyce-Clarke is one of the brightest young talents to catch the eye of some high-profile clubs and I thought he'd definitely be heading for the exit door at the Madejski Stadium.

This will be a huge boost for the Royals, and they'll be hoping he can play a crucial role in the future of the club.
