The publication claims that Borussia Dortmund, Wolfsburg and Hamburg have all joined the race to sign the Addicks youngster this summer.

Gomez, 17, has turned out to be a revelation for Guy Luzon's Charlton Athletic side this season, and his mature performances have seen some of the largest clubs in Europe keep tabs on the defender.

The Charlton Athletic man has impressed fans with his maturity this year, despite only being 17, and it is his diversity in-terms of his position that make him such an attractive option to sign this summer.

Although predominantly a centre back - Gomez can also be deployed in the right-back as well, meaning he can be utilised in a number of positions along the backline.
