Olympiacos manager Pedro Martins has discussed the speculation surrounding his side and the potential arrivals of Tiago Silva and Yuri Ribeiro from Nottingham Forest.

The men from the City Ground have had another big transfer window with several names joining and several leaving so far too.

Indeed, it appears we could see more out of the door before the window shuts next week for non-domestic transfers and both Silva and Ribeiro have been linked with a move to Greece to play for Olympiacos.

Quoted by Green outlet SDNA, though, Martins would not speculate on exact names but he did say that he knows what he needs before the deadline when asked about a new left-back and a winger by the press.

He said:

"I do not have the authority to answer this question.

"Until the 5th of the month everything is open.

“I know what is needed for our team.

“There is coordination with the president and it will be the best until the last day for our team.”

The Verdict

A coy enough response as you would expect at this time of year but it does seem fair to assume that Forest are going to see Ribeiro and Silva potentially leave the club before the window shuts.

Sabri Lamouchi has a big squad available to him but he won't be able to keep them all happy and moving some on seems to be the best solution for that, it just remains to be seen who goes and where they end up in the coming days.
