According to the Sun, Manchester United are confident that they could be able to sign Jude Bellingham in the summer after the player was reportedly ‘blown away’ by the Red Devils’ Carrington facilities.
The Birmingham City teenager has emerged as a real star this season in the Sky Bet Championship and has proven a regular in the Blues’ midfield.
Naturally, for a player so young there has been growing speculation around him and United are one of the sides apparently keen on signing him.
According to the report, then, Bellingham was impressed with the Carrington training complex that United call home, as well as enjoying chats with the likes of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Sir Alex Ferguson.
Without doubt, United have plenty in their arsenal to impress a young player and it sounds as though they’ve managed to have an impact.
Whether this leads to Bellingham joining United on a permanent basis remains to be seen but it does sound as though they’ve left an impression on the midfielder.
He appears to be facing a big choice this summer over his future, and United will feel they’ve done all they can to bring him in ahead of him going elsewhere.
