As per the Sun, Manchester United are heading back into the race for Stoke City defender Nathan Collins, though they have company from fellow Premier League giants in the hunt for his signature.

Collins is seen as one of the best young defenders outside of the top flight and has again chalked up multiple appearances in the Championship for current side Stoke.

Certainly, he looks a player with a bright future and United remain keen on him, though Arsenal are also said to be watching him closely whilst Chelsea are also in the battle to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

Clearly, then, he's a player with potentially a few big decisions to make in the summer window - whenever it opens - as this report highlights he could well have at least three of the biggest clubs in Europe knocking at his door.

Michael O'Neill, of course, will want to keep him on the Potters' books but that could be a hard task in the near future.

The Verdict

The Potters have had real success in bringing Collins through and that is evident by the calibre of the clubs apparently taking a look at him.

If all three offer him the chance to move, he'll have some real thinking to do but the main thing he needs to consider is which side will be best for his development.
