Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon is attracting interest from a number of clubs heading into the summer, including Manchester United, PSG, Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur according to The Telegraph.
It had previously been reported that Spurs were long-term admirers of the 19-year-old, who looks as though he’s destined for a move away from Craven Cottage in the near future.
Sessegnon is entering the final year of his contract at Fulham, which has seen interest in signing him rise in recent months heading into the new season.
Scott Parker’s side were relegated from the Premier League last term, and will be hoping to win promotion from the Championship at the first time of asking.
The report from The Telegraph claims that the clubs interested in signing Sessegnon have all made inquiries into landing his signature, although it remains to be seen as to who is the favourite to sign him.
The 19-year-old made 35 appearances for the Lilywhites last season in the top-flight, but struggled to replicate the form he had previously shown in the Championship, when they won promotion.
Sessegnon scored 15 goals and was on hand to provide six assists under the guidance of Slavisa Jokanovic in the Championship.
The England under 21’s international will be hoping to have his future resolved at the earliest of opportunities so that he can focus on his pre-season plans, with the new season getting underway in August.
It’s only a matter of time before he leaves Fulham in my opinion.
Sessegnon is far too good to be playing in the Championship for another season, as he had previously scored regularly for the Lilywhites in their promotion-winning campaign.
Spurs will feel as though they’re the frontrunners to land his signature, but they need to come to match Fulham’s valuation of the youngster quickly, otherwise he could be on the move to another club.
