‘Man of the match’ – Wolves fans sing praises of consistent performer following Robins win



Wolves went 10 points clear in the Championship title race yesterday with a crucial 2-1 win over Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

The table toppers were made to wait for the winning goal as Ryan Bennett chose the perfect time to open his account for the club as he smashed home in the 94th minute to send the away end into raptures.

One of the key men for Wolves this season has been the performances of right back Matt Doherty, who has once again been a model of consistency and has grown into a big favourite of the Molineux crowd.

Following the game, Doherty took to Twitter to share a photo posted on his Instagram account which showed the Wolves players celebrating the victory.

A picture like this was always going to draw quite the reaction from the supporters and it did just that, as plenty of fans took time out to respond to Doherty.
