Manchester City's young goalkeeper Aro Muric will soon make a decision on his future as Championship clubs line up for his signature.

According to The Sun's Alan Nixon, Muric is "about to pick his loan club".

Nixon has said that Preston and Nottingham Forest are both targeting the goalkeeper and suggests that the Man City youngster will make up his mind soon.

The 20-year-old has had a successful season at City, being the club’s second choice due to Bravo being injured. But now Bravo is returning to fitness, an opportunity has opened up for Muric to get some more game time.

Muric has a Carabao Cup winner's medal to his name, playing five games throughout the tournament, including being involved in a winning penalty shoot-out versus Leicester in the quarters. The Verdict Muric's future has been well documented in recent weeks and it seems we are on the cusp of discovering where he will end up. Forest and Preston are the two teams reported by Alan Nixon and baring that in mind I think Nottingham could be his final destination. Despite Preston and Forest finishing just five points apart, Forest have a bit more clout and will be expecting to finish higher in the league, which could make that move more worthwhile for Muric. Alternatively, Preston is much closer geographically to Manchester, so it might suit Muric a lot more to play there as he may be able to live in a similar location.
