Italian giants AC Milan are prepared to come back in for Fulham defender Antonee Robinson this summer and try and secure a deal for their long-term target, according to Calciomercato.
AC Milan first tried to secure a move for Robinson in January 2020 with them having agreed an initial £6 million deal to take him from Wigan Athletic. However, that deal, which could have increased to £10 million in add-ons, ultimately fell through due to medical issues with the USA international.
Robinson has since gone on to move to Fulham and enjoyed a promising campaign with them in the Premier League last term making 28 appearances, although the left-back could not prevent them from being relegated back to the Championship.
It has already been reported by The Sun that Manchester City have Robinson on their transfer radar this summer as they aim to bolster their options at left-back. It is thought that Fulham are going to value the defender at around £10 million this summer according to that report.

Calciomercato are now reporting that AC Milan are in the market for a new left-back this summer to provide some competition and cover for Theo Hernandez. Robinson is one of their main targets to bring into the club in that position this summer and they are hoping to wrap up a deal to secure their long-term target.
Given AC Milan’s previous interest in Robinson, this is not something that we should be too surprised to see happen this summer. The USA international is clearly a player that the Italian giants feel can enhance their options in the left-back position and they have been wanting to secure his signature for the last few transfer windows now.
It would be a move that Robinson has already shown himself to be receptive to in the past with him having agreed to join AC Milan before that move fell through in January 2020. Therefore, he would find it very difficult to turn down the chance to join them for a second time this summer if they were to come in with a concrete offer of around £10 million.
Robinson could face a massive choice and perhaps one that most players dream about. He could be opting between joining Manchester City or one of the biggest teams in the world in AC Milan. That level of interest means it is highly unlikely that Fulham would be able to keep hold of him in the Championship and he is sure to be heading for an exit you would think.
