Malky Mackay has entered talks with Norwich City about the vacant manager’s job at Carrow Road, according to the Daily Mail.
Mackay is said to be in negotiations with Norwich chief executive David McNally, and the Scotsman is on the verge of being appointed.
The 42-year-old was sacked by Cardiff City earlier this season and replaced by Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, in a move that many people thought was unfair.
Mackay decided to drop his claims for compensation against Cardiff last week, and former Watford manager is all set to move to Carrow Road.
Mackay is no stranger to Carrow Road as he made 212 appearances for the Canaries in a six-year spell at the club between 1998 and 2004.
