Paul Lambert and his players have seemingly put some string together to cause this recent encouraging run of results, with just the three defeats from their previous 10 outings.

This has enabled Wolves to pull away from the relegation zone and safety is a certainty at this point – ten points separate the west Midlands outfit and the relegation zone, and they have a game in-hand over most other teams in the division.

Knowing how Lambert operates, he will still want to pick up as many points as possible to carry the momentum into pre-season.

The Scotsman will no doubt have an eye on what players will be staying at Molineux past the summer.
