Paul Lambert and his players have seemingly put some string together to cause this recent encouraging run of results, with just the three defeats from their previous 10 outings.

This has enabled Wolves to pull away from the relegation zone and safety is a certainty at this point - ten points separate the west Midlands outfit and the relegation zone, and they have a game in-hand over most other teams in the division.

Knowing how Lambert operates, he will still want to pick up as many points as possible to carry the momentum into pre-season.

The Scotsman will no doubt have an eye on what players will be staying at Molineux past the summer.

A few members of the first-team have their contracts expiring after the season ends and their future at Molineux is uncertain, they'll be fighting for their careers at the club.

Here are TWO Wolves players whose futures are well and truly in limbo....

George Saville

The 23-year-old is one of those players who have a contract set to expire in the summer, and it is still unclear as to whether Paul Lambert will be offering the midfielder a new deal beyond the current season.

George Saville has been on the fringes of this Wolves squad since returning from a loan spell in January 2016, making 21 Championship appearances for the club this campaign and we still don't know if that'll be enough to keep him at Molineux.

He will definitely want to stay but it's up to the manager as to whether Saville will be part of the squad that aims for a play-off push next year, or whether departing is the better option for the player.

Duckens Nazon

Duckens Nazon arrived at Wolverhampton Wanderers in the winter transfer window from Indian Premier League side Kerala Blasters  - who are managed by ex-Bristol City, Reading, Brighton and Brentford boss Steve Coppell.

The French forward is yet to feature for the first-team with the majority of his minutes on the pitching coming from the under-23 squad, but I expect Paul Lambert will be hoping to utilise the 23 year-old next season.

Despite this, it's uncertain whether the manager will definitely call him up and his deal at the club expires in the summer.

Although, there is the option to extend his contract by another year.
