The Robins are in troubling form and a relegation scrap is certainly on the cards as we enter the final few weeks of the 2016/17 Championship campaign.

Bristol City's run has seen them pick up three vital victories from their last five outings and that's created a four point divide between themselves and 22nd-placed Blackburn Rovers.

The only top-half opposition Lee Johnson and his players have to face is a trip on the road to league leaders Brighton & Hove Albion, who welcome the Ashton Gate outfit to the Sussex south coast.

There is a number of players in the Bristol City first-team who don't know the outcome of their careers beyond this summer - with a number of players' futures at Bristol City uncertain to say the least.

Here are TWO Bristol City footballers' futures which are well and truly in limbo.......

Aaron Wilbraham

The 37-year-old has been a mainstay in the Robins first-team for quite some years now and played a decisive role in their promotion from League One a couple of seasons back, but this campaign hasn't quite gone to plan for him.

Aaron Wilbraham has made 29 appearances for Bristol City, which isn't bad for someone of his age, however, the ex-Crystal Palace striker has bagged a measly four goals and provided one assist for his team-mates.

His contract is set to expire in the summer and manager Lee Johnson is unlikely to extend his current deal at the club - but instead be on the search for a replacement for loanee Tammy Abraham, who will return to Chelsea following his spell at Ashton Gate.

Mark Little

Mark Little was another member of the squad which had an important contribution to the club's successful promotion to the second-tier, although he's found life in the Championship somewhat difficult.

The right-back has been second-choice behind Adam Matthews, on loan from the Premier League's relegation-threatened Sunderland, with only twenty-three league matches under his belt this campaign.

If I was Lee Johnson, I would keep hold of Little but the manager's future is in doubt following a disappointing season and that may result in the 28-year-old defender departing Ashton Gate - at the moment his destiny is in his own hands.

Bristol City fans, do you agree? Who would you keep? Is there anyone else amongst the squad whose future is unknown? Let us hear your opinions in the comments below!
