Frank Lampard is a man with many contacts in the world of football, with the Derby County boss looking to make use of that in the coming weeks ahead of the Sky Bet Championship season.

The ex-Chelsea and England midfielder has taken his first steps into management with Derby, with Lampard preparing his squad for the 2018/19 campaign, which is fast approaching.

Recent reports have linked Lampard with a raid on his former club, with the Telegraph reporting that talks have been held over a loan deal for Mason Mount.

Mount, 19, hasn’t featured for the Chelsea first-team, but impressed last season on-loan in the Dutch Eredivisie with Vitesse.

The attacking midfielder bagged 14 goals and 10 assists across all competitions, impressing for the Dutch outfit.

Here at FLW, we wanted to know if Derby’s supporters were backing Lampard in his pursuit of Mount this summer.

Unsurprisingly, the potential arrival of Mount has got Derby’s supporters excited, with 82% of voters in our poll emphatically backing Lampard to bring the 19-year-old on board.

However, the remaining 18% of voters aren’t convinced by the teenager’s potential arrival at the Pride Park Stadium.

Would you back Mount to be a success? Let us know your thoughts!
