Frank Lampard is looking to make an impact at Derby County this summer, as the ex-England and Chelsea midfielder takes his first steps in management.

The Rams moved to appoint Lampard as Gary Rowett’s successor, with the 40-year-old tasked with taking the Rams forward during the 2018/19 campaign.

As most Championship clubs are, Lampard is looking to have an impact in the transfer window, with plans to reshape the squad he has inherited at Pride Park.

One player linked with a move to Derby is Kasey Palmer, who spent the second-half of last season on-loan with the Rams from Chelsea.

The 21-year-old scored two goals and registered one assist during that spell, where he didn’t feature as regularly as many expected him to.

Here at FLW, we wanted to know if Derby’s supporters would welcome the midfielder returning to Pride Park for a second spell.

Voters in our poll seem keen on Palmer returning to Pride Park for a second spell, with 79% voting in favour of the midfielder returning.

Just 21% of voters were against the Chelsea midfielder linking up with Lampard’s squad ahead of the 2018/19 season.

Would Palmer be a good addition? Let us know your thoughts!
