Many Leeds United fans are unhappy with the FA after they decided not to ban Southampton striker Charlie Austin following his criticism of a match official.

That's because Whites centre-back Pontus Jansson was given a one-match ban by the FA for his outburst after Leeds were held to a 1-1 draw with Brentford.

The Swede claimed it was a 'robbery' after the Bees were awarded a dubious penalty.

Yet, Austin didn't face action for his rant, which suggested the ref cost the side two points in the draw with Watford last week.

However, journalist Phil Hay has provided an insight as to why the FA made the decision with a series of tweets after speaking to the governing body.

Essentially, they felt Jansson questioned the integrity of the match official, as well as swearing, whereas Austin didn't do that.

It's fair to say that's a controversial comment and the majority of Leeds fans understandably didn't agree with it.

Here's how some reacted on Twitter...
