Free agent Stefan Maierhofer wants to join Fulham, according to the Sun Newspaper.

The 6ft 8in former Wolves man is keen on reuniting with Fulham boss Felix Magath where they were together at German giants Bayern Munich in 2007, playing twice.

The Austrian international, spent last year at Championship side Millwall on a short term deal after German club FC Koln released him.

Fulham are looking to strengthen their squad as they prepare for life in the second tier of English Football for the first time in fourteen years. The former Wolves and Bristol City forward hasn't been speculated as a target for the Cottagers until now as he tries to find a new club.
