A number of Watford fans have been reacting to reports that the Hornets have held talks with Xisco over the potential for him to take over from Vladimir Ivić at Vicarage Road.

The Hornets made the decision to sack Ivic following their 2-0 defeat at Huddersfield Town on Saturday, with the club’s hierarchy thought to have been unconvinced by the style of play under the former Maccabi Tel Aviv boss. That comes after Watford had already been through three managers last season on their way to relegation from the Premier League.

The Spaniard, who enjoyed a successful playing career in La Liga picking up the title and UEFA Cup during his time playing for Valencia, is a very inexperienced manager having only taken charge of a handful of matches for Dinamo Tbilisi since becoming their head coach.
