‘Made that hard work’ – Despite victory, these West Brom fans were not impressed with one man against Luton

West Brom picked up their first win of the Championship season on Saturday afternoon, as they beat Luton Town 3-2 at The Hawthorns.

The Baggies had taken a 3-0 lead by the midway point of the second-half, thanks to a Kal Naismith own goal, and strikes from Callum Robinson and Karlan Grant.

However, Harry Cornick’s effort, and then a stoppage time goal from Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu ensured something of a nervy end to the game for the Baggies.

That late fightback from Luton is something that seemingly caused some frustration for West Brom fans as they took to Twitter to give their thoughts on the game, and one player who came in for some scrutiny as a result of that, was Kenneth Zohore.

Who is the most expensive West Brom signing out of these four players?

The striker, who has struggled to make an impact since joining the Baggies from Cardiff in 2019, was brought off the bench just after Cornick made the score 3-1, replacing Grant.

However, many West Brom fans appeared to feel that Zohore struggled to offer the Baggies an attacking outlet to help relieve the pressure on his side’s defence, thus further handing Luton a route back into the game.

That is a point that many fans were seemingly keen to make about Zohore, and here, we take a lookk at what some of them had to say about the 27-year-old.
